A wall length mural of the four seasons of Lincoln County painted by Julia Bland is located inside Midwest Community Bank, Lincoln. Silhouettes of community residents are colorfully painted on the outside of the bank.
Public Art Collection with over 30 pieces is available for viewing at the Lincoln Art Center with paintings, photographs, and wood carvings.
Watch for the zany sculptures of grassroots artist JR Dickerman while traveling along Highways 14 and 18.
The view from the ninth hole of the Lincoln Golf Course is said to be one of the best in the county and the sand greens one of the best challenges.
Swim in Lincoln's public pool. Picnic and play at the city parks in Beverly, Barnard, Lincoln and Sylvan Grove.
Visit the first country opera house known to exist in Kansas. The Denmark Community Hall with its beautiful wood interior is still used today.
Visit Lincoln County cemeteries and see such sites as the suitcase-shaped headstone. Group tours may be arranged with "Talking Tombstones" and divining rod demonstrations.
Make arrangements to see the site of the 1864 Moffit Massacre southeast of Lincoln with the Lincoln County Historical Society.
Tour Vonada Stone Company and see how they quarry limestone with the old feather and wedge method. And while in the area stop and see the Spillman Creek Bridge.
Drive to Hell Creek Country in the southwest corner of the county and see the only stream that flows northwest in Kansas, scenic high bluffs and deep canyons.
The unusual salt marshes near Barnard attract a variety of migrating birds. While in the area, stop in Barnard to see the octagonal concrete water tower built by the WPA in 1937.
Fishing in the slightly salty water in the Saline River gives fish a flavor unequaled in other Kansas streams.
